JEWELY MAINTENANCE

All LEMON LUA jewelry is made of sterling silver 925s and coated with 14 carat gold. Jewelry needs maintenance and in order to extend the durability of the coating, it is recommended that you take care of your jewelry and carry them carefully. For everyday use we therefore recommend that you follow these advice:

Always remove the jewelry before going to bed.

Avoid washing your hands with the jewelry and always take them off before going to the bath, cleaning, doing sports, etc.

When you do not wear the jewelry, it is recommended that you store the jewelry in a closed bag or box. This way you avoid oxidizing the jewelry.

Clean the jewelry regularly. For this, a soft cloth, neutral detergent and lukewarm water are used.

The jewelery must be added as the last step in the daily beauty routine. Perfume, make-up, hair spray, lotion and oils can all damage the coating on the jewelry.

Silver jewelry can oxidice over time, which is expressed as dark colored spots. This is a natural process and is therefore not a complaint.

You can clean the jewelry with lukewarm water, a soft toothbrush and neutral detergent. If the jewelery is still oxidized, it can be dipped in liquid silver cleaner. Then rinse the jewelry in water and brush it with a dry and soft cloth. The process can be repeated, but never leave your jewelry in the cleaning fluid for longer than prescribed, as silver jewelery with coating may lose color.
